You may know that I am an actress. I love to act and perform on stage. It is simply telling a story. Well, I especially love acting at churches and telling God’s word. A few Sundays ago, I had the awesome opportunity to perform this drama skit called “Thy Will Be Done” at the Wooddale Church campus in Edina, MN. It is an amazingly written script about two young women who are discussing the will of God. One girl, Jennifer, has her whole life planned out and thinks God will fit into her life, while the other girl, Paige, is not quite sure what God’s will is for her, but believes that doing what she knows God already wants her to do is His will such as: being kind, honest, and generous. I play the role of Paige. The awesome part of this script, is that the role of Paige fits me to a T. I live out this character daily. My favorite line is: God’s will is not about what we do rather than how we live. I believe that God’s will is more about the journey than the destination. It is a pretty powerful, thought provoking, deep script. I love it!
